Thu 11 Jun, 04:16 PM

Coaching trio Dean Austin, Frank Lampard Sr and Karl Halabi have left Watford to join Brendan Rodgers at Reading.

The coaches are set to sign three-year contracts in the next few days and will once again link up with Rodgers - whom they worked under at Vicarage Road.

Austin will become assistant manager, Lampard will act as a football consultant and Halabi will work as football physiologist.

  3. It's the best news for Watford to get rid of staff that are not interested in the challenge and it is a challenge. Reading are a going no where club especially when all you so called star players who could not get you back into the premiership leave before the new season starts. You blew your chances this season Reading all the comments of promotion this season are fly by night now!

  8. It can't be a bad thing having these coaches come to Reading, especially Frank Lampard Snr. I use to love seeing him play many moons ago. Good luck and best wishes to them all. I hope they help Reading to get back up into the Premiership.
