Clarets head to Scotland

Thu 11 Jun, 02:38 PM

Burnley will prepare for their return to the top flight by playing two friendlies during a mini-tour of Scotland.

The Clarets are back in the big time after a 33-year absence following their play-off final victory over Sheffield United.

Their first opponents in Scotland, for a match scheduled for Thursday August 6 (KO 7.45pm), have yet to be announced.

But Owen Coyle's squad will travel to face his former club St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Saturday, August 8 (KO 3pm).
