Glen Johnson declared the feel-good factor could not be stronger within the England camp after a 6-0 romp over Andorra at Wembley all but secured safe passage to the World Cup finals in South Africa.
The Portsmouth full-back turned in a man-of-the-match display with a hand in each of Wayne Rooney's first-half double which took his tally to 24 - level with 1966 hero Sir Geoff Hurst - before also setting up substitute Jermain Defoe.
Fabio Capello's men maintained their 100% record to move 10 points clear of both Ukraine and Croatia at the top of Group six and now need a maximum of four points from their final three games to rubber stamp their ticket to the finals next summer.
"Morale could not be any higher, and we showed that out there," said Johnson, who got the nod ahead of Gary Neville.
