Manager Roy Keane has called on Ipswich players and fans to transform Portman Road into a fortress next season.
Portman Road has a reputation for its friendly atmosphere and warm reception given to travelling fans but produced just eight home wins for the Tractor Boys last season.
And Keane is determined to change that without compromising the club's traditions.
"People talk about Ipswich being a nice place to come and play for visiting teams so it would be good if we can make it a bit more intimidating," he told the club's official website.
"The supporters can play a big part in that but it comes down to the players as well. We need to win football matches and turn Portman Road into a fortress.
"Teams can still look forward to coming here. We can have that in a nice way but we can still win games here."

For Christ's sake give up you doom merchant... its about time we had someone who has a bit of balls about him at the club....
I for one am behind him and happy to see him here...
If things dont go our way, like they have done in the past i will still be behind the team and Roy..willing them to succeed...IF you want to play the forever "I TOLD YOU SO" guy then Do us all a favour and Sod off to Norwich and give them some support....
Maybe a few more ppl like you there can help Them in the back to back relegation dream...
It didn't work at Sunderland - the fear of defeat that Keano put into his players transferred to the supporters and the opposition only had to score for the players to look worried and the crowd to get anxious. Will he/ has he learnt his lesson? Next season will tell. If Ipswich start off poorly though don't be surprised if he walks before Christmas!
