Wozniacki storms into home final
Caroline Wozniacki continued her fine form in front of her home fans by storming into the final of the WTA Copenhagen event.
The world number one and defending champion destroyed German qualifier Mona Barthel 6-1 6-2 and will now meet Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic in the final.
Wozniacki has not lost a set all week and was able to wrap up her win over Barthel in just 62 minutes.
Safarova, seeded four, clinched her final spot with a come-from-behind 1-6 6-4 6-2 triumph over Croatia's Petra Martic.
If Wozniacki does win the indoor hardcourt event – it will be the 17th WTA crown of her career.
