Defender completes Lions return

Fri 11 Jul, 05:15 PM

Millwall have completed the signing of defender Tony Craig from Championship outfit Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee.The 23-year-old spent the latter part of last season on loan at The Den, having joined Palace from the Lions the previous summer, and has now agreed a three-year deal to return to his boyhood club.

"I was very impressed with Tony during his loan spell last season and I think he will be a good asset for us," Lions boss Kenny Jackett told the club's official website.

"He will have benefited from the experience of being away from here for a year but he's still a good age and he's fully focused on helping us win promotion to the Championship. I'm very much looking forward to working with him again."

Craig was taken to Selhurst Park by former Eagles manager Peter Taylor in June last year but fell out of favour under Neil Warnock.
