Kerrea Gilbert hopes to help Leicester return to the Championship at the first attempt after making a season-long loan switch to the Foxes. The Arsenal defender is looking forward to being reunited with Nigel Pearson, who he worked under at England youth level, and is determined to impress the Foxes boss.
"I am excited to be here. The facilities are of Premier League quality and I am keen to get started and help Leicester City bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking," said Gilbert.
"I am delighted to be here and would like to thank the manager for giving me the chance to impress and play regular first-team football.
"I have worked with the gaffer before at England youth level and have got nothing but praise for him. He is always prepared to give you a chance and I am determined not to let him down.
