Swansea defender Angel Rangel fears he will miss the start of the new Championship season as he continues his recovery from groin surgery.Rangel has been forced to miss the Swans' pre-season tour of Sweden and while Swansea have not yet ruled the full-back out of the season-opener at Charlton on August 9, is it likely he will miss the first couple of weeks of the campaign.
"I think Charlton may be too early for me," Rangel told the South Wales Evening Post. "It's a big disappointment.
"Last season was very good for me and now we are all looking forward to starting out in the Championship. We all want to be part of the team that starts the season but I can't think about the first game.
"Right now I'm thinking about getting my recovery right and getting fit when I can, not about coming back for a certain game."
