Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock is eager to dive back into the transfer market after missing out on two primary targets in recent weeks.Sturrock refused to name the players but one is rumoured to be Crystal Palace midfielder Carl Fletcher.
The Scot is still hopeful of signing Austrian international Jurgen Saumel, who featured at Euro 2008, but insists he will not wait forever.
"We have been knocked back by somebody I felt was an important ingredient to the football club, which disappointed me," he told the club's official website. "It means now, the search goes on again.
"I am disappointed with what happened because I potentially lost two players. It means I will have to reawaken a couple of the plates I have been spinning.
"I am hoping one or two of the players we are in negotiations with will say yes in the next couple of days, but it is ongoing."
