Svetoslav Todorov could make his long-awaited reappearance in a Charlton shirt when Alan Pardew takes his side to Ebbsfleet on Saturday.Todorov, who has been sidelined since October with cruciate knee ligament damage, had been pencilled in for one of Charlton's midweek fixtures against Bromley or Welling, but Pardew opted to hold the Bulgarian striker back a little longer.
"Toddy was out for a long time last season and I want to ease him back gradually," said Pardew.
"I didn't think throwing him in straight away against two non-league sides, especially in light of the weather and conditions, would be very beneficial for him."
Fellow strikers Chris Iwelumo (hamstring) and Andy Gray (back) are carrying knocks while Darren Ambrose (groin) and Izale McLeod (knee) are still out.
Defender Madjid Bougherra, a target for Spanish side Real Betis, has returned to training after a long international break with Algeria but is not expected to play.
