Darren Fletcher insists he is full focused on becoming a first-team regular at Manchester United, amid reports he is wanted by Everton.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been a bit-part player since progressing through the ranks at Old Trafford, and Toffees boss David Moyes is reportedly trying to persuade him to jump ship.
But Scotland international Fletcher dismissed talk of a transfer as speculation, adding on MUTV: "You just learn to deal with that as your time progresses here.
"The most important thing is you're focused on Manchester United. Unless someone tells you otherwise, that's what you do."
Fletcher made just 24 appearances for United last season and is looking to play more of a part this term.
"To play in more matches than last season, that's obviously the target each season," he said.
"You do your bit, you're patient and you've got to wait for your chance. I'll be ready to take my chance when it comes and I'll hopeful play a few more matches."
Fletcher is also unfazed by the prospect of United's squad growing this summer, saying: "I don't think much needs to change but fresh faces are always good. Competition for places is always going to be at Manchester United.
"It's something you've got to rise to."

Fletch is a talented player with a gerrard like work ethic. He's only problem now is Hargreaves and Ando. He's not going to knock off there spot. Unless he's happy to play carling and FA cup games he needs to think of moving. Maybe not? Maybe Sir Alex will give him and Sheasy a few more appearances. Maybe time to move on to where you can make the first team regularly.
