Brentford manager Andy Scott is pleased with the way his side is taking shape ahead of the new season.
Scott guided the Bees to the League Two title last season and has just spent a week in Marbella with his players as he prepares them for life in the third tier.
"When I look at where we were this time last season I am delighted with our progress on a number of fronts," he told his club's official website.
"The squad is coming together although I am still in talks with a couple of players who I believe will improve us still further.
"The players brought in this year will undoubtedly add their own areas of quality to the squad and will certainly give us a little more strength in depth."
