Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander could make changes for his side's Carling Cup first-round tie against Blackpool on Tuesday evening. The Silkmen were thrashed 4-0 in their League Two opener at Shrewsbury on Saturday but former Lincoln boss Alexander is refusing to panic.
He said: "I'm disappointed to lose 4-0 because I don't think I have had a team that has ever lost by that many.
"But you come to the club that is expected to win this league, that have spent £150,000 on one centre forward, more than my total budget, and it is something you've got to expect.
"But we'll bounce back I am sure of it. I didn't get over excited when we were winning last season and I'll not get over excited now."
Simon Yeo could earn a starting berth in attack following his summer arrival, while Alexander has no new injury concerns.
