Burnley manager Owen Coyle has backed his players to bounce back from their opening-day surrender at Sheffield Wednesday. The Clarets slumped to a dismal 4-1 defeat at Hillsborough to make the worst possible start to their Championship campaign.
But Coyle insists his men will respond in the right manner in the Carling Cup first-round tie at League Two neighbours Bury on Tuesday.
"We've learned a harsh lesson, and we've certainly had it," said Coyle
"So it's what we take from that and how we bounce back from it - and we will."
