Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has warned his team-mates not to underestimate Slavia Prague in their Champions League qualifier.La Viola clinched fourth place in Serie A last season to secure themselves a spot in Europe's premier club competition for the first time since 1999.

Despite being favourites to go through to the group stage, Frey insists they must be as wary of the Czech champions, who have already started their season, as they would be of teams such as Internazionale or Barcelona.

"They are more ahead than us," he said. "But we are ready both mentally and physically.

"We have had a great pre-season and it would mean a lot to get through the preliminary round, to the squad and on a personal level - to play against the greats of Europe is fantastic.

"On Tuesday we will play as if we were playing against Barcelona, Juventus or Inter.

"We have to be good at counter-attacks and we have to do the best we can at home - away from home it won't be easy to get a result."
