New signing Andy Morrell is expected to make his Bury debut when they host Lancashire rivals Burnley in the Carling Cup on Tuesday evening.Former Coventry striker Morrell, 33, rejected the offer of a new contract at Championship side Blackpool in favour of a move to Gigg Lane and should partner Andy Bishop in the Shakers attack.

"It's a real coup for us," said boss Alan Knill. "He's a proven goalscorer with a track record that has played at a really good level and could still play at that level but he's chosen to come to us."

Defender Ryan Cresswell is also likely to make his full debut after he replaced Paul Scott in Saturday's 1-0 win against Brentford.

Scott was forced to withdraw with an ankle injury.
