Ipswich striker Jon Walters is set for a return to action as his side host League One Leyton Orient side in a Carling Cup first-round match. Walters missed the 2-1 defeat to Preston on Saturday after attending the birth of his child in the north west but is back in Suffolk and expected to be given a run out against the O's.
Manager Jim Magilton was furious with his side after they threw away an early lead against Alan Irvine's side and could ring the changes.
Alan Quinn was hauled off at half-time so Tommy Miller should start in his place in midfield while Alan Lee is pushing for a recall in attack.
Young duo Pim Balkestein and Tommy Smith both made their debuts in defence against the Lilywhites so Alex Bruce will be hoping to replace one of them as Town search for a return to winning ways at home.
