The game is expected to decide who wins Group 4 to seal automatic progress to the finals in South Africa in the summer of 2010.

It will take place at the Luzhniki Olympic stadium Moscow, which has a capacity of 84,000 seats.

FA general director Alexei Sorokin said they would use a lottery to determine the lucky fans and deter ticket touts.

Germany lead the group, one point ahead of Russia with two games remaining.

The final group games see Germany host Finland and Russia visit Azerbaijan - which both teams are expected to win.

The second-placed team is likely to go into a play-off with a runner-up from another group.
