Pompey hope to have James back

Portsmouth goalkeeper David James may make his return from a knee injury in Saturday's Barclays Premier League match against fellow strugglers Bolton.

Pompey are still missing Papa Bouba Diop and Steve Finnan, who both have hamstring problems, while Herman Hreidarsson has a foot injury.

Striker Danny Webber has completed his move to Portsmouth - and Tal Ben-Haim, Kevin Prince-Boateng, Jamie O'Hara, Mike Williamson, Aruna Dindane and Hassan Yebda could also push for their club debuts.

  1. Fred Karno's army I think you mean, instead of Blue and White Army? Have the faith my son, bags of talent when they are in the mixer can they can blend, a lot depends on the motivation, there are a lot of ordinary teams in the Premiership, all with their own Fred Karno's, a lot depends on PH getting them to play as a team..Lets face it whats the wage bill know as to last season?? You have to prudent, I wonder how many in the premiership, (a lot are above their income) will go into administration this season!! A lot of the money is in La Liga and watch the exodus in January.
