Royal trainer Nicky Henderson returned to action on Sunday after a three-month ban with a solitary runner at the new Ffos Las track in Wales.
Knar Mardy, a 6-1 chance, finished a well-beaten fourth in the last race.
Henderson was suspended and fined £40,400 in July for using a prohibited anti-bleeding substance on Moonlit Path, a horse owned by the Queen.
Henderson, 58, has a string of 160 horses at his stables near Lambourn in southern England. He has twice been champion jumps trainer and has a particularly good record at Cheltenham.
The Queen, a lifelong racing enthusiast, had six horses with Henderson at the time of the ban.
