Mowbray unsure over Kim future

Tue 11 Dec, 05:15 PM

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he is yet to make a decision on whether to sign South Korean trialist Kim Do-heon on a permanent deal. The 25-year-old midfielder arrived in England last week but has had little chance to impress due to the Baggies' relaxed training sessions ahead of the hectic Christmas schedule.

Kim, who has been capped 42 times by his country, is set to return to his homeland later this week to get married.

"Kim has got undoubted quality on the ball - as you would expect from someone who has played more than 40 times for his country," Mowbray told the club's official website.

"He is very creative and talented and a great passer with both feet but there is no decision yet. I will have more discussions with his advisors.

"Because of the intense schedule of games the lads have not been training much. They have just been ticking over. Kim has flown all the way over from South Korea and he has trained a couple of times for an hour in light sessions.

"Having only seen him train twice and after watching a dvd of his talents, we won't be putting any great funds into what might be a big gamble."
