Charlton defender Jay McEveley is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines with the shoulder injury he suffered on Tuesday night. The on-loan Derby left-back fell awkwardly early on during the defeat by Coventry, and although he tried to continue he eventually had to be taken off.
"That was a big blow for us, his drive and commitment were missed," said Addicks caretaker boss Phil Parkinson.
"We had him scanned after the game. It's a dislocated shoulder but from early reports from the physio there's a fracture in there as well so it's not looking good for him."
