Striker Jay Bothroyd has revealed he is loving life at Cardiff and is determined to bring Premier League football to the club's new stadium. The 26-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Welsh outfit in all competitions so far this term, finding the net four times while putting in some impressive performances of late.
And with the Bluebirds currently flying high in sixth place, Bothroyd is fully focused on bringing the curtain down at Ninian Park in style - by securing top-flight football.
"Our aim is to start in the stadium with Premier League football," he said in the Western Mail. "It looks terrific and I can't wait to play there.
"With the squad we have at Cardiff, there is no doubt we are capable of pushing for a place in the top flight. I want to play my football at the highest level and win things.
"I am completely focused on City. I've been linked with being called up for Jamaica and maybe that's an option in the future, but I want to establish myself firmly with this club first and see how my career pans out. I like it here and it's great running out at Ninian Park."
