Stockport manager Jim Gannon admitted he faces a big task to pick his players up ahead of Saturday's trip to League One rivals Yeovil.County were dumped out of the FA Cup in midweek as Gillingham outplayed them to secure a plum home tie against Aston Villa.
The reverse came hot on the heels of a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of promotion rivals Peterborough.
Gannon said: "It's my job to try and get some of the spirit back now, but I've got my work cut out.
"We're going to get inconsistencies and we've had rough patches, but looking back we've still had a tremendous calendar year."
