Ling hoping to extend unbeaten run

Thu 11 Dec, 03:30 PM

Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling is keen for his players to build on their recent good form when they face Cheltenham at the weekend.A seven-game unbeaten run has lifted Orient out of the bottom four and they currently sit in 18th place in the League One table.

"There's no doubt it's a massive match for us and we will be looking to build on our good recent run," Ling told the Newham Recorder.

"It's very tight down there and anyone in the bottom half will be looking over their shoulders.

"Anyone who has a bad run can get sucked in and it's important we climb away as quickly as we can.

"A win will give us some breathing space, but a defeat would drag us back into trouble, so it's a really big game."
