Posh striker Aaron Mclean has insisted that the club are focused on winning promotion from League One despite their midweek cup exploits.Mclean was on target in the 2-1 replay win at Tranmere which has set Darren Ferguson's side up for a trip to face Premier League side West Brom in the third round - the third time the sides will meet in cup competition in 15 months.
But Mclean said: "We owe West Brom after losing to them twice last season.
"It's a game we can all look forward to, but there are important league matches before then.
"Promotion is what everyone wants this season. The cup run will just be a bonus, but we can again take a lot of confidence from the way we performed at Tranmere.
"The big games are coming along every week now so we can't afford to think about West Brom."
