Birmingham midfielder Fabrice Muamba is unsurprised that Saturday's opponents Arsenal have done so well this season with their young team.Question marks were raised in August as to whether the Gunners would even attain a Champions League spot, but Arsene Wenger's men have defied the doubters and are currently top of the Premier League table ahead of their meeting with Blues at the Emirates Stadium.
Former Arsenal midfielder Muamba said: "Arsenal have a different way to most of bringing through young players and it doesn't surprise me some of the boys have done well.
"It is not about being young, it is about being mentally prepared for everything and I am sure Mr Wenger has them mentally prepared for the season.
"That is why they are doing really well. That is why they are top of the league and are playing very good football."
