Champions Olympique Lyon moved six points clear at the top of Ligue 1 after recovering from a goal down to beat Toulouse 3-2.

Lyon, chasing a seventh successive title, went behind in their first league match after the winter break when defender Anthony Reveillere deflected a cross by Sweden forward Johan Elmander into his own net on eight minutes.

The home side equalised nine minutes later through Hatem Ben Arfa after a fine combination with fellow France striker Karim Benzema.

Brazil midfielder Juninho, the Lyon captain, put his side in front from a free kick in the 55th minute and Benzema added a third from the edge of the box after a solo run in the 66th.

Toulouse reduced the arrears with a header in added time from Brazilian midfielder Fabinho.

Second-placed Nancy drew 0-0 at Caen and Girondins Bordeaux are now level on points with them after a 4-1 home win over struggling Auxerre featuring two goals from Argentine forward Fernando Cavenaghi.

Valenciennes climbed two places to fourth with a 2-0 home victory over St Etienne.

The northerners, in their second season back after more than a decade outside the top flight, took the points courtesy of an early header from midfielder Geoffrey Doumeng and a late close-range effort by forward Gregory Pujol.
