The pace of the Championship has surprised Coventry midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin, who claims the English second tier is on a par with the SPL.The French midfielder joined the Sky Blues from Hibernian at the start of the season and he insists that a number of Championship sides would be competitive in the Scottish top flight.

He told the club's official website: "There are definitely some teams in this league who could compete in Scotland.

"The game is very fast at this level and it's all about running box to box and I am starting to get used to the way the game is played here.

"Teams in this league could compete in the French top division as well so it shows how difficult it is in this league but I am always willing to learn and this experience can only help me."
