Veteran striker Kevin Gallen has left League One high-flyers MK Dons after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. The 33-year-old has been on loan at League Two strugglers Luton since mid-November - scoring once in the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth.
He scored 10 goals during his time with the Dons and was an important member of the squad which won both the League Two title and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last season.
The former QPR and Plymouth striker becomes a free agent with immediate effect after his loan with Luton expired on Saturday, although the Hatters are reported to be keen to thrash out a deal.
