Lincoln forward Geoff Horsfield believes his strike partnership with Anthony Elding could prove a magnificent match for the Imps. The duo made their Imps debuts against Brentford on Saturday and combined for Elding's equaliser in the 2-2 draw.
Horsfield hopes this will be the start of a prolific link-up with the Crewe loanee Elding.
He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "We hit it off straight away in training, I don't know why.
"I've played with some fantastic players in my career, like Christophe Dugarry and Karl-Heinz Riedle, World Cup winners, and it's nice when a partnership just clicks.
"With me and Anthony, it seems to have. But we've got to do it on the pitch, not just on the training ground, and I think we will."
