Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson admitted Brentford deserved a point after seeing his promotion-chasers clinch a 2-1 win at Griffin Park. The visitors claimed the points thanks to an early Aaron Mclean header and a second-half goal from Craig Mackail-Smith, but Ferguson knew his team had been in a battle.
He said: "It was a great three points. It was a win, a very scrappy win, but we won, that's the main thing.
"We started the game really well, then we stopped playing and they probably deserved more than what they got - but the game is about winning.
"At no point was I really comfortable."
