Mathieu Flamini has urged everyone at Arsenal to stop making excuses and concentrate on delivering the title to Emirates Stadium.Arsene Wenger was left exasperated by the state of Wigan's pitch after returning south with only a 0-0 stalemate secured against Steve Bruce's relegation-threatened side in the Premier League on Sunday.
The result marked the Gunners' third draw from as many matches in the league and should Manchester United win their game in hand on their capital rivals, Sir Alex Ferguson's side would usurp Wenger's at the summit.
Flamini believes Arsenal have no-one but themselves to blame for their current predicament and has called for a united front between now and the campaign's close.
He said: "The pitch was horrible but it was the same for both teams. Of course we like to play and we had to play more long balls, so it was more difficult for us.
"But you cannot moan. You just have to score goals and we didn't, so now we have to work harder in training and be ready for Middlesbrough on Saturday.
"When you want to win the title, you have to be ready to fight."
Flamini's form this season has seen his on-going contractual situation at Emirates catch the imagination of a number of other sides.
The France international is out of contract in the summer and has courted attention from the likes of Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid.
