Argentina legend Diego Maradona will play in a benefit match to help people affected by floods in Bolivia.Deputy minister of sport Milton Melgar confirmed his appearance at the Estadio Hernando Siles in La Paz on Monday.
The match is part of a music festival organised by Bolivian president Evo Morales, who will also play.
Maradona said: "I will bring my heart. At this moment, the Bolivian people need all our support and I will be with them."
Retired players Alejandro Mancuso, Diego Latorre, Esteban Pogany and Matias Almeyda will play in Maradona's team, alongside a clutch of Argentinian artists and journalists.
Their opponents, Morales' team, will count on former stars of the national team such as Marco Etcheverry, Bolivia coach Erwin Sanchez, Carlos Borja and Marco Sandy.
