Andy Scott was delighted with his Brentford team and thought they were unfortunate not to take a point in the 2-1 home defeat by Peterborough. The Bees had chances before the League Two visitors went 2-0 up on Tuesday night, and Alan Connell pulled a goal back for the hosts with half-an-hour left to set up a tense finish.
Scott said: "We made a very good side look panicked and ordinary at times.
"They had that extra bit of quality up front and they caused us problems, but they were forced to hit long balls at times.
"My lads gave me everything, a few things could have gone our way, but they didn't - but there are lots of positives to take.
"We've given a really good game to a team that are top of the table."
