Leicester City defender Richard Stearman has admitted his side's relegation-zone woes in the Championship are deeply hurting him.The Foxes slipped into the bottom three with a 1-0 defeat at Southampton on Tuesday night, and the 20-year-old insisted he could not believe the position his boyhood club were in.

He told the club's official website: "Everyone is hurting but being a local lad it hurts me that little bit more.

"I've grown up supporting this club and I cannot quite believe what we are doing at the wrong end of the table.

"It really hurts; we are such a big club and shouldn't be anywhere near the relegation zone.

"We have got eight games remaining and they are all massive matches."
