When Laporte was coach, he said that if Dickinson was the ref. the players would not even step on the field.
Sorry but I disagree with chilledout47: Every team infringes the rules to a certain degree. However, the ref. can eye only one team and "forget" the other team's faults.
In the past, France (due to a reputation of being "tricky") was often penalized more than its opponent for similar infringements.
Well if you play well, and dont mess up it doesnt matter who the referee is, does it, FRENCH OR ENGLISH....
But he's also a referee - surely he hates England more?
