Ipswich manager Jim Magilton has issued a rallying call to players and fans ahead of Sunday's crucial East Anglian derby.Defeat to bitter rivals Norwich would all but end Town's play-off hopes and Magilton is under no illusions about the importance of the game.
"There's no hiding the fact that Sunday's match is massive in more ways than one and we need three points to keep us fighting for the play-offs," he told the East Anglian Daily Times.
"I want a real performance from the players - one I know they can give. I want a display full of tempo, full of energy and full of desire. If I get that then I will back them all the way, win or lose."
The former Northern Ireland international, who made almost 300 appearances for Ipswich, believes the home fans have a vital role on derby day.
"The supporters, as always, will have a part to play and I'm sure they will get right behind the team," he added.
