Norwich boss Glenn Roeder has pledged to take the game to Ipswich in the East Anglia derby at Portman Road. The former West Ham manager is looking forward to his second taste of the fierce rivalry he experienced during his first game in charge at Carrow Road last November, when the Canaries overturned a 2-0 half-time deficit to claim a dramatic 2-2 draw.
"We will attack, make no mistake about it," Roeder told the club's official website. "We will try and play like we like we have done away from home since I've been here by trying to play like the home team and put pressure on Ipswich by playing in their half.
"Ipswich have been in the top six for most of the season, they have just dropped out with four games to go and the pressure is stacking up on them now."
Roeder also praised forward Darren Huckerby, who has returned to form following a troublesome hip injury and is set to make his 200th appearance for the club.
"By his own omission he wasn't producing what he knows he is capable of doing and he was upset about that," added Roeder. "But in the last four or five weeks he has looked more like the Darren Huckerby that everyone at Norwich knows and we need him to stay like that for the next four games."
