Tottenham v Middlesbrough

Paul Robinson is a doubt for Spurs with an ankle injury, so Radek Cerny is ready to deputise in between the sticks. Ledley King is out for the rest of the season with his knee problem and Jamie O'Hara is doubtful with a bruised foot. Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate is unlikely to change the side that drew with Manchester United last weekend. Mido remains sidelined with a hernia problem while Robert Huth has a foot injury.

Reading v Fulham

Reading boss Steve Coppell welcomes back Marek Matejovsky after suspension to bolster his midfield, but Glen Little (heel) and Graeme Murty (knee) are likely to miss out, despite having been declared fit. Stephen Hunt is set to play, even though he is carrying a slight hamstring complaint. Fulham striker Eddie Johnson has trained this week, but is not yet match fit while Antti Niemi remains on the treatment table with a shoulder injury. Jari Litmanen is still sidelined with a groin problem.

Sunderland v Man City

Sunderland boss Roy Keane will be without Dwight Yorke and Dickson Etuhu (both foot) for the visit of City, but other than that, he has no new injury concerns. City will be without young defenders Nedum Onuoha (shoulder) and Micah Richards (knee), both of whom are out for the rest of the season. Vedran Corluka is set to move to centre-back with Sun Jihai deputising at right-back.

Birmingham v Everton

Olivier Kapo (hamstring) and James McFadden (knee) face late fitness tests for Birmingham while Liam Ridgewell replaces Martin Taylor (groin) in the centre of defence. Mehdi Nafti is likely to be rewarded for his patience on the bench with a starting berth in the absence of Damien Johnson, who is serving a two-match ban. Mikel Arteta (stomach and abdomen) is doubtful for Everton while Steven Pienaar, Tim Cahill and Tony Hibbert are definitely out.

Bolton v West Ham

Bolton captain Kevin Nolan returns to Gary Megson's side after injury and suspension but Joey O'Brien is set to miss out with a hamstring injury. Ali Al-Habsi continues to deputise for the injured Jussi Jaaskelainen in goal. West Ham still have a host of long-term injuries to deal with, although Mathew Upson (calf) could return to partner Anton Ferdinand in the centre of defence and Freddie Ljungberg may come back into the side following a thigh injury. Lucas Neill and Mark Noble are slight doubts for the trip to the Reebook.

Derby v Aston Villa

Rams midfielder Mile Sterjovski misses the visit of Villa with an Achilles injury but Robbie Savage, Emmanuel Villa and Dean Leacock are all expected to be passed fit in late tests. Villa striker John Carew is battling to overcome a groin injury he picked up in last week's game against Bolton while Craig Gardner is still out with a thigh problem.

Portsmouth v Newcastle (17:15)

Jermain Defoe will return for Pompey after missing the midweek win over West Ham and could partner David Nugent as Kanu is rested after his exertions in last weekend's FA Cup semi-final. Milan Baros (calf) and John Utaka (hamstring) are both doubts, as is Lassana Diarra (thigh). Steven Taylor has recovered from illness and returns to the Newcastle squad, but Stephen Carr, James Milner, Claudio Cacapa and Peter Ramage all remain sidelined.

Sunday

Liverpool v Blackburn (13:30)

Javier Mascherano completes his three-match ban while Dan Agger (knee), Harry Kewell (hamstring) and Jermaine Pennant (hamstring) remain sidelined for Liverpool. Jason Roberts (groin) and David Dunn (knee) both face late fitness tests for Blackburn, but Steven Reid is expected to retain his place despite hobbling off with cramp in last week's clash with Spurs.

Manchester United v Arsenal (16:00)

Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney are certain to return having been rested for the midweek clash over Roma, but Nemanja Vidic remains sidelined with a shoulder injury. Rio Ferdinand came through the 1-0 win at Old Trafford despite a cut foot and Gary Neville and Mikael Silvestre both made successful returns to action after lengthy layoffs but Nani (thigh), Darren Fletcher (knee) and Louis Saha (hamstring) are all out. For Arsenal, Mathieu Flamini misses out with an ankle injury and will be replaced by Gilberto in the centre of midfield. Robin Van Persie is fit and available and could start but Abou Diaby is suspended and Bacary Sagna (ankle) is out.

Monday

Chelsea v Wigan (20:00)

Hilario will play in goal for Chelsea as Petr Cech (face) and Carlo Cudicini (hamstring) are both out injured. Reserve keeper Rhys Taylor is set to be drafted into the squad as back-up for the Portuguese. Michael Brown and Jason Koumas will return for Wigan following suspensions although they are not guaranteed a place in the starting line-up. Erik Edman remains out with a ruptured cruciate ligament but Steve Bruce has no new injury concerns.
