Great Britain Under-21s were knocked out of the World Championship qualifying tournament after losing 36-25 to hosts Holland in Emmen.

HANDBALL - Chris Mohr - 0

Chris Mohr, who features for Essen in the Bundesliga, scored six goals for Britain while Gawain Vincent bagged five and Seb Edgar, Chris McDermott and Martin Hare all managed four.

Britain head coach Bill Baillie was not too disheartened by the loss.

"The players are disappointed, but we're pleased with the performance," he said. "It's only their second competitive international, and we improved on our first match.

"The second half was a very good display, but we couldn't catch up from the first half. And when you consider that we're playing out here with our third- and fourth-choice keepers at the moment, we're doing really well."

GB end their campaign against Iceland on Sunday.
