Mon 12 May, 08:30 AM

Sunderland boss Roy Keane will speak with Niall Quinn this week to discuss the futures of veteran Dwight Yorke and on-loan Jonny Evans.Yorke turned in an excellent display in the final game of his existing contract against Arsenal on Sunday but it is unclear whether the former Manchester United man will land a new deal.

Evans, meanwhile, will now return to Old Trafford following the conclusion of his loan spell and Keane will now speak to Sir Alex Ferguson to see if he can keep the defender.

The Irishman said: "We have got to look at the package in terms of Dwight's age.

"I have had good chats with him. I will maybe have another chat with him, if not this evening, then certainly tomorrow and we will decide what way he wants to go.

"I know he has got one or two other offers on the table and in a way, it is up to him to decide what he wants to do."

On Evans, he added: "We had the same conversation last summer when we got promoted.

"I was asked if Jonny was available and I said, 'It is out of our hands', and I am going to give you the same answer. It is out of our hands.

"He is under contract at Manchester United. But would I like to bring people like Jonny to the football club? You bet your life I would."
