Northampton manager Stuart Gray insists that his first full season in charge of the Cobblers has been an unqualified success at Sixfields.Gray's first full season saw the Cobblers record their highest league finish in 10 years and raised expectations of a possible play-off challenge next term.
He said: "When we set out this season our aim was to better what we did last season and in terms of our league position, goals scored and points tally we've done that.
"We have thrown away points this season but if you'd have told me last August that we would finish ninth with 66 points I'd probably have snapped your hand off.
"All credit to the players but they do know that if they don't pull their weight they will be out of the team."
