AC Milan have joined Serie A rivals Juventus in the race to sign highly-rated Palermo striker Carvalho Amauri.Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini revealed the Rossoneri have contacted the Sicilian club about acquiring the Brazilian forward this summer.
"We were close to reaching an agreement with Juventus but now Milan have come forward, we will see," said Zamparini.
"I would see Amauri either wearing the Rossoneri or Bianconeri colours."
The 27-year-old Amauri is Palermo's top scorer this season with 15 league goals.
He is under contract with the Sicilian giants until June 2011 and is in the process of acquiring his Italian citizenship.
