Millwall defender Danny Senda is facing up to nine months on the sidelines following a lengthy operation last Wednesday on his injured knee.Senda went under the knife after suffering the horrific injury during the final game of the season against Swindon the previous weekend.
"The surgeon was very pleased with the proceedings," said Lions physio Bobby Bacic.
"Danny will now begin the challenge of doing his rehab and we would expect this to take up to nine months due to the severity of the injury."
Fellow defender Mark Phillips, who will be released by the club this summer, has also undergone a knee operation and will be out of action for six weeks.
