Terriers targeting record gates

Huddersfield have broken the 10,000-barrier for the number of season-tickets sold to their supporters for the 2008/09 campaign.The 2008/9 season marks Huddersfield's centenary and to help fans celebrate the Terriers have reduced season-ticket prices.

The previous best figure for season-ticket sales at the Galpharm Stadium was 9,500 ahead of the 1999/2000 season when the club were in the Championship.

Town officials are now expecting to beat the all-time record of 14,000 season-ticket sales set in 1970 after the club had been promoted to the top flight.
