Three tenths of a second covered the fastest four over a single lap during Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix. Third place finisher Kimi Raikkonen actually set the fastest lap of the 58-lap Grand Prix, his best time of 1:26.506s coming just ahead of his first pit stop as he successfully made position over Robert Kubica.
The BMW Sauber driver also set his best lap, fourth fastest overall, just ahead of his first pit stop, but it was not enough to see him retain third position on track.
Lewis Hamilton was the second fastest over a single lap, his best lap coming just after he had passed Felipe Massa for the lead and ahead of his second of three pit stops. Hamilton's best lap was just 0.023s slower than Raikkonen's best.
Race winner Massa set the third fastest lap of the race ahead of his first pit stop when he was being chased hard by Hamilton.
Other notables include Heikki Kovalainen who spent most of his race battling to make up ground following a puncture on the first lap. The Finn was eighth fastest overall with a best lap over 1.1s slower than Raikkonen. Timo Glock and Rubens Barrichello set exactly the same time for their best lap.
