Star apprentice William Buick took another major step towards establishing himself in the racing game when he rode out his claim at Wolverhampton on Monday.
Buick, 19, made every yard of the running on 16-1 chance Glorious Dreams from a wide draw to land a milestone 95th success on his only ride at the West Midlands track.
It has taken him just 20 months to do that in what has been a remarkable start to a career which has already included a Royal Ascot success.
And now he has his sights set on the apprentice crown at the end of the season.
Buick said: "This will be a crucial year for me now I have lost my claim. But I have had good support from many trainers and I hope that continues."
The teenager will be chasing winners in Sweden on Sunday.
He said: "I am riding for a trainer out there and I am looking forward to the experience. It all adds up to education."
Glorious Dreams shot out of stall 12 in the five-furlong sprint to make every yard of the running and score by two lengths from Calahonda.
Winning trainer Tim Pitt said: "She has put in nice and solid work at home and we came here because she received allowances.
"I had been praying Will did not ride out his claim on Saturday."
