Former Barnsley striker Istvan Ferenczi will return to Oakwell this summer when Hungarian club Ferencvaros visit for a friendly.
The Tykes have lined up a clash with the fallen Hungarian giants, crowned second division champions last week, on Saturday July 11.
Ferenczi signed for the Tykes for a reported six-figure fee in January 2007, but was released by manager Simon Davey in May last year before joining Ferencvaros.
Barnsley are also scheduled to play at Buxton on July 9 and at Gainsborough Trinity on July 21 as part of their preparations for the 2009/10 season.
