Hartlepool director of sport Chris Turner has confirmed his interest in bringing goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos back to the club but admits "financial implications" are holding up any deal.
The Greek shot-stopper was a fans` favourite at Victoria Park during a four-year spell between 2003 and 2007 and is currently contracted to Championship side Coventry.
Turner told the club`s official website: "As you know, Dimi is one of a number of goalkeepers we are looking at.
"I know the fans would like to see him back in goal but it is not as simple as us asking him back and him coming.
"I know Dimi would like to come back but there are financial implications with his current club that make it tougher than just bringing him back."
